Job Overview

As our Business Development Manager, you will be exploring existing and new, alternative, sales channels and you will be looking out for best ways to promote Texthelp.Together with the team, you will be increasing our footprint in the market and building out our solutions within the US corporate sector.

You will be supported by our business specialists, product managers and our marketing team while aligning closely with colleagues in the wider group to optimise your market approach.

Your sales style is value-led, collaborative, structured and strategic and with your tactful, diplomatic and persuasive mindset and ability to listen and understand, you are able to develop productive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders on different organisational levels.

  • Create and nurture new enterprise relationships

  • Meet or exceed quota expectations in assigned territory

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

  • 3+ years' experience in a senior Business Development role within an established SaaS operation

  • Relevant network on senior and executive level

  • Understanding and aptitude for digital products and services

  • Excellent communication skills, including strong and confident presentation skills to highest levels of decision makers

  • Successful track record in difficult C-level negotiations including all technical and business issues

  • Excellent organising abilities and a readiness to travel throughout North America

  • You have proven experience closing very large, complex deals over a long sales cycle and building strategic relationships
